Why KindFable exists
Childhood happens in tiny moments — the first wobbly tooth, the rainy Tuesday, the dragon invented at bedtime. We think we’ll remember them forever, and then somehow we don’t.
KindFable was built to catch those moments while they’re still warm: to turn a photo and a few honest lines into a book your family can hold, shelf after shelf, year after year. Not one book — a childhood, kept.
Every family has stories only they could tell. We just help paint them.
How KindFable works
- Step 1
Add your photos
You add a photo of your child, and photos of anyone else you want in the story. We convert each one into a cartoon avatar and do not keep the original photos.
- Step 2
Tell us the story
Write a line about what it should be about — a first swimming lesson, a new baby brother, a bedtime adventure you invented. KindFable writes an age-appropriate story from it and illustrates every page, with your child as the main character.
- Step 3
Read it or print it
Read the book online in your browser, download a PDF, or order a printed hardcover or softcover book delivered to your door.

Made to be kept
- A square 8.5 × 8.5 inch book, printed as a softcover or hardcover keepsake
- The full digital book — read it online or keep the PDF forever
- A narrated audiobook, and a real song written from the story
- Companions welcome: a grandparent, a pet, a favorite toy — drawn from their photos too
Signing in with Google
You can try KindFable and see your first cover preview without an account. To keep your books in your library — and to buy, download or print them — you create a free KindFable account. You can sign in with your email address or with your Google Account. When you choose Google Sign-In, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with KindFable.
We use this information for one purpose only: to create and secure your account — so your books are saved to your personal library, so you can sign back in, and so we can email you about your books and print orders.
KindFable requests only basic sign-in permissions (your email address and basic profile). We do not request or access any other Google data — no Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, Contacts, or Calendar. We never sell your information, and KindFable’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Privacy & your choices
We designed KindFable to hold as little as possible: the original photo you upload is never saved by us — it goes to our AI provider to be checked and drawn, under that provider’s own terms, and only the drawing is kept. You can review, export, or delete your data at any time. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
