1. Who may use KindFable
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose photo or details you submit. By using KindFable you confirm you have the authority to provide that information and consent to its processing.
2. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos and details you upload. You grant KindFable a limited license to process them solely to generate and deliver your storybooks and operate the service. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any photo or content you provide, and you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit.
3. Acceptable use
Do not upload content that is unlawful, that depicts a child other than your own without authority, or that attempts to misuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
4. AI-generated content
Stories and illustrations are created by AI and may vary or contain inaccuracies. KindFable applies automated safety checks but does not warrant that any output is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose — please review each book before sharing it with your child. Printed products are made to order and small variations in colour, trim, and finish are normal.
5. Pricing & payments
Creating and previewing a book is free. Unlocking and ordering a book is a one-time purchase per book — there is no subscription and no recurring charge. Current prices are shown at checkout and are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change from time to time; the price shown at the moment you order is the price that applies to that order.
6. Refunds & remakes
We stand behind our work. If you’re not happy with a book, contact us within 30 days of your purchase and we’ll either remake the book for you or give you a full refund — whichever you prefer. Just email support@kindfable.com and tell us which you’d like.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service and all books, images, and text are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KindFable and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
